Convergence of Cultures
There are Dutch, American and English Pirates, and
all of them are well travelled, as is reflected by the
rich collection of carpets and textiles in both the
House and the Folly. Here, Syria meets Egypt in
a photo by recent guest Jenny Wesly.

Space for Thought
Upstairs in the Folly - the Pirates' smaller house - is a
space that many guests use for writing and thinking.
It's also the perfect place for sitting and gazing
at the woods outside as twilight turns into night.

Are the Polranny Pirates Real Pirates?
Of course they are... and they have the flag to prove it!
PS This jaunty Jolly Roger was lovingly made by guests Saskia, Sammie and Daan.
