This beautifully situated graveyard of Gleggan has for centuries been the mainland burial place of the island people of Ana and Inishbiggle. Poverty prevented most graves from getting a headstone. In the last 20 years the descendants have done a lot of work to restore the old unmarked graves and provide headstones. The graveyard also has a Holy Well where mass is said every year on 15 August.
